Identify the primary diagnosis and mechanism of injury
Establish timeline: acute (<3 wks), subacute (3–6 wks), chronic (>6 wks)
Determine whether stiffness is intrinsic or extrinsic in origin
Assess patient compliance potential and psychosocial factors early
Case Intake
Provide as much clinical detail as you can — pattern of motion, AROM/PROM, end feel, scar location, healing stage, prior treatment. The richer the intake, the faster we get to cast design and the fewer questions you’ll need to answer in chat.
